Variance Board Meeting <br />Minutes – Wednesday, June 7, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br />Commissioner Doherty advised that, while there is plenty or room on the lot, due to <br />the fact that it was a corner lot, a variance situation was required. Commissioner <br />Boerigter concurred, opining that allowance of the variance would not deviate from <br />the character of the neighborhood, and given the applicant’s choices, it represented <br />a reasonable request. <br />Commissioner Doherty expressed his preference, for future reference, that <br />terminology for lots in the staff report be referred to as “does not meet current <br />size requirements,” rather than “substandard,” to avoid creating a bad <br />connotation. <br />Ayes: 3 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Abstain: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />5. Adjournment <br />Chair Bakeman adjourned the meeting at approximately 6:15 p.m. <br />
