<br />Human Rights Commlssion Minutes <br />October 8, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Matts will write an article for Human Rights Day, ~ <br />which is December 4, 1985. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed the possibility of getting <br />together with other local commissions in an effort to <br />define the Commission's purpose, and refocus the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Mackey and Oberdorfer indicated they feel distant from <br />the City Council. Even though they are "City officials", <br />they do not feel attached to the City. <br /> <br />-F. Zielske indicated he will call the State Commission to <br />find out what is happening regarding no-fault <br />grievances. Oberdorfer suggested no-fault grievance <br />meetings could be held at City Hall, since it would be <br />a neutral location. <br /> <br />G. Zielske indicated a replacement for Don Zalk is <br />needed. It was suggested the vacancy should be <br />announced on Cable T.V., and in the Newsletter. <br /> <br />II. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 1985. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m. <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />L <br />
