<br />Human Rights Commission Minutes <br />June 11, 1991 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />The membership on the various activity committees is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />A. Essay Contest: <br />Jackie Lindberg, Chair; Dave Norrgard. <br /> <br />B. Human Rights Excellence Award: <br />stan Borden Chair; Karen Bondy. <br /> <br />C. Martin Luther King Tribute: <br />Mary Litsheim, Chair; stan Borden, Bob Bancroft, and <br />Mary Jean Turinia Anderson. <br /> <br />D. Communications: <br />Mary Jean Turinia Anderson, Chair; Mary Litsheim and Bob <br />Bancroft. <br /> <br />5. Commission Budqet <br />The Commission discussed their current budget allocation and <br />activities the budget supports. The Commission discussed <br />making a request to increase the budget by $500 to enable <br />the expansion of community outreach activities. Anderson <br />will prepare a budget request letter for the city Council. <br /> <br />6. Leaque of Minnesota Human Riqhts Commission's Human Riqhts <br />Award <br />The Commission agreed that the Roseville Schools Adult High <br />School should be nominated for the LMHRC Human Rights Award. <br /> <br />V. Next Meetinq <br />The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 1991. <br />The Commission will not meet in July or August. However, each <br />activity committee should meet to prepare a work plan to be pre- <br />sented at the September meeting. <br /> <br />The Communications and Martin Luther King committees will meet <br />at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13. <br /> <br />VI. Adiournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m. <br />
