<br />Human Rights Commission Minutes <br />December 9, 1991 <br /> <br />c) Employer Educational Event <br />A spring training session presented to the <br />Suburban Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored <br />by the Commission was discussed. The session <br />would be presented by the State Council on <br />Disabilities on the topic of the Americans with <br />Disabilities Act (ADA). The Commission also <br />discussed whether they would want to meet with <br />local businesses to explain the Commission's <br />purpose and the No Fault Grievance process. <br />Deutsch volunteered to check on what advice <br />Falcon Heights would have regarding similar <br />meetings they had conducted. <br /> <br />d) p.R./Articles <br />The Commission will continue to work through the <br />City staff liaison on press releases and news <br />articles. Anderson will write a factual article <br />on the African-American tradition of kwanzaa. <br /> <br />e) Bias Related Crime Seminar <br />The Commission discussed the success of the bias <br />related crime seminar. A videotape has been <br />ordered but not received and will be available <br />for Commission members to check out when it <br />arrives. <br /> <br />B. Grievance u9date <br />There were no grievances reported this month. <br /> <br />IV. Other Business <br />No other business was brought forward. <br /> <br />V.
