<br />Human Riqhts Commission Minutes <br />Februarv 8, 1994 <br /> <br />VIII. Other Business. <br /> <br />A discussion was held regarding the Cable Committee. Kim <br />Waite had been active at one time on the Committee but <br />apparently it had been discontinued. Various Commission <br />members expressed interest in reviving some work with the <br />Cable Commission. Mike Hermes volunteered to talk to some <br />people at the Cable Commission to see how the Commission <br />could participate and where the last Committee broke down. <br /> <br />Beatriz Menanteau was congratulated by the Commission for <br />the successful Diversity Day at the High School. Discussion <br />was held regarding the various speakers and activities. <br />Beatriz said she felt part of the success was due to the <br />focus on overall diversity rather than racial diversity. <br /> <br />IX. Next Meetinq. <br />Next meeting is Tuesday, March 8, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />VI. Adlournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m. <br />
