<br />volunteering, knowing that another student would be at the <br /> <br />meeting, rather than all adults. <br /> <br />More importantly, having one <br /> <br />senior representative, and one junior or sophomore <br /> <br />representative, would provide for continuity from one year to the <br /> <br />next. <br /> <br />This might also be important since youth members have, to <br /> <br />date, served only during the school year, so that the HRC does <br /> <br />not necessarily have a great deal of time to get to know them. <br /> <br />IV. Overall, I had a sense that the Multicultural Committee had <br /> <br />been looking for ways to make community connections, and we met <br /> <br />at just the right time.
