<br />7) Other Business/Announcements <br />Issac Afwerke stated that the Rosefest parade went well. The Commission <br />suggested that a better sign be developed in order to bring more awareness to the <br />Essay Contest winners. <br /> <br />The League of MN Human Rights Commissions meeting will be held at 11 :OOam on <br />July 25 at the City of New Brighton. <br /> <br />Jill Bergquist will prepare a memo to the Roseville Police Department thanking them <br />for their quick response to a hate crime/graffiti incident. The incident, reported to the <br />Commission by Michael Jordan, included racist and anti-Semitic graffiti that was <br />sighted on a business. <br /> <br />8) Adjournment <br />Janet Gordon moved, Brenda Boily-Salmanpour seconded that the meeting be <br />adjourned at 8:05pm. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />9) Next Meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11 at 7:00pm in Roseville City <br />Hall. <br />
