<br />5. Human Rights Essay Contest <br />The Commission received only 9 essays this year. Because of the notification deadline of <br />December 31, all essays were scored and winners were determined even though all <br />Commissioners did not attend this meeting. Other Business/Announcements <br />Bergquist discussed the possibility of a joint meeting with the Plamling Commission <br />regarding upcoming housing issues in Roseville. <br /> <br />Bergquist received a letter from Roseville resident, Peggy Egli, regarding what Egli <br />perceived as a racist incident. Bergquist will contact Deputy Chief Alleva to alert him to the <br />incident. <br /> <br />The Commission would like to see another mention of the Commission's purpose in the next <br />City newsletter. Zamow will investigate the possibility with the Communications staff. <br /> <br />Vidas contacted Bergquist and said that she expected the cable program to be run in <br />December, however, CTV misplaced the tape. Vidas has the master and will send another <br />copy to CTV. <br /> <br />Minutes from the November 9 meeting will be voted on during the next meeting scheduled for <br />Tuesday, January II, at 7:00 p.m. <br />
