Phillip said <br />personal freedom and how we relate to each other are two different sessions. <br /> <br />Rita felt we should keep Forums focused on how do we respond in positive ways to <br />9/11/01. The message is trying to build community. We need to contact the panelists <br />and the network to promote. How do we maintain hope six months later? <br /> <br />Mark Chapin asked how groups that feel disenfranchised feel about violent acts? Phillip <br />said people cope with tenorism in other ways. "Continuing to Heal - Overcoming fear <br />and moving to hope". Need to address: stereotyping, harassing, ethnic identity, <br />scapegoating and assumptions. League of Women Voters? Phillip said we should do a <br />Part III -- sacrifices we need to make. <br /> <br />Use Cable TV to focus on loss of personal liberties. CTV if videotaped 3/21. <br /> <br />April - Strategic Planning discussion <br /> <br />Adiournment <br />Thelma McKenzie motioned to adjourn at 8:45 p.m. Seconded by Steve Zorn. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />There was no March meeting because of the Forum and Essay Contest announcements. <br /> <br />The April meeting was canceled pending City Council action on Commission <br />appointments. <br />
