-2- WHEREAS, it is estimated that the total consideration to be paid for the acquisition of said interest will be $277,300. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ROSEVILLE VILLAGE COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: I. That an application to be made to the Housing and Home Finance Agency for a grant in an amount authorized by Title VII of the Housing Act of 1961, which amount is presently estimated to be $138,650 and that the Roseville Village Council will pay the balance of the consideration for the acquisition of such interest and the total of all related costs from other funds available to it. 2. That the Village Manager hereby authorized and directed to execute and to file such application with the Housing and Home Finance Agency, to provide additional information and to furnish such documents as may be required by said Agency, to execute such contracts as are required by said Agency and to act as the authorized correspondents of the Roseville Village Council. 3. That the proposed acquisition is in accordance with the Roseville Comprehensive Plan approved by the Roseville Village Council for the preservation of permanent open-space land, and that, should said grant be made, the Roseville Village Council will retain said land for the uses designated in said application and approved by the Housing and Home Finance Agency. 4. That the United States of American and the Housing and Home Finance Administrator be, and they hereby are, assured of full compliance by the Roseville Village Council with regulations of the Housing and Home Finance Agency effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Member Shields and upon a vote being taken thereon, all members voted in favor of the Resolution, and no one voted against the same. WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
