<br />-2- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is estimated that the total consideration to be paid <br />for the acquisition of said interest will be $277,300. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ROSEVILLE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. That an application to be made to the Housing and Home Finance <br />Agency for a grant in an amount authorized by Title VII of the Housing Act <br />of 1961, which amount is presently estimated to be $138,650 and that the <br />Roseville Village Council will pay the balance of the consideration for <br />the acquisition of such interest and the total of all related costs from <br />other funds available to it. <br /> <br />2. That the Village Manager hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and to file such application with the Housing and Home Finance <br />Agency, to provide additional information and to furnish such documents <br />as may be required by said Agency, to execute such contracts as are required <br />by said Agency and to act as the authorized correspondents of the Roseville <br />Village Council. <br /> <br />3. That the proposed acquisition is in accordance with the Roseville <br />Comprehensive Plan approved by the Roseville Village Council for the <br />preservation of permanent open-space land, and that, should said grant be <br />made, the Roseville Village Council will retain said land for the uses <br />designated in said application and approved by the Housing and Home Finance <br />Agency. <br /> <br />4. That the United States of American and the Housing and Home <br />Finance Administrator be, and they hereby are, assured of full compliance <br />by the Roseville Village Council with regulations of the Housing and Home <br />Finance Agency effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Shields and upon a vote being taken thereon, all <br />members voted in favor of the Resolution, and no one voted against the <br />same. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Manager of the Village <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefully compared <br />the attached and foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, held on the <br />14th day of March, 1966, with the original on file in my office, and the <br />same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom, insofar as the <br />same relates to a Resolution authorizing filing of an application for a federal <br />grant. <br />
