NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS; The Village Council hereby deems it necessary and expedient that the Village acquire fee simple interest over the property described as follows: The East 320 feet of the North 20 rods of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Fourteen (14), Township Twenty-nine (29), Range Twenty- three (23), Ramsey County, Minnesota. That fee simple interest is to be acquired for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating a flowage easement for the flowage, storage, ponding and discharge of storm waters, including the maintenance and construction of storm water lines and pipes over and across said property, together with ingress and egress. That the Village Attorney be and he hereby is instructed to complete the necessary proceedings in condemnation under the power of eminent domain in the name and in behalf of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, to acquire the property set forth above under the statutes of the State of Minnesota, and that said attorney is further instructed and directed to take such steps as may be necessary to carry said proceedings to a conclusion.
