<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 8 , 1966. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in <br />said Village on August 8 , 1966, at 7:30 p.m. The <br />following members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Grauel and Goodrich <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Trustee Shields <br /> <br />Member Goodrich introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1584 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION <br />UNDER THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN AN EASEMENT ACROSS CERTAIN <br />LANDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING AND OP- <br />ERATING, STORM SEWER MAINS, PIPES AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA, AND DIRECTING THAT THE NEC- <br />ESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSES, AS A PART <br />OF IMPROVEMENT 66-14 and 66-15. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of Roseville <br />has been advised by competent engineers that it is feasible <br />to construct storm sewer lines, pipes and appurtenances for said <br />Village~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it necessary and <br />expedient and in the best interests of the Village and its <br />inhabitants that storm sewer mains, pipes, and appurtenances <br />be constructed on the lands proposed to be taken by eminent <br />domain hereunder, as a part of Improvement 66-14 and 66-l5~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota state <br />that the Village has the power and authority to take and <br />acquire said property by condemnation under the power of <br />eminent domain~ <br />
