<br />After a discussion of the views presented by persons <br /> <br />appearing at the pUblic hearing for Storm Sewer Improvement <br /> <br />No. 65-38, a~ amended, <br /> <br />Mr. Shields <br /> <br />then introduced <br /> <br />the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No.17~7 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING Tf.IE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />STROM SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 65-38, AS AMENDED <br />PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATU'DES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Roseville, <br /> <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of M1nneso.a <br />Statutes, Chapter 429. the Council held a pUblic hearing <br />pursuant to published notice, on the proposed construction <br />of Storm Sewer Improvement No. 65-38, as amended, consisting <br />of the improvement of existing county ditch No. 2 within <br />the Village of New Brighton from Long Lake and extending <br />approximately 10,000 feet southerly to Jones Lake in sub- <br />stantially the same location as existing ditch No.2, the <br />contract for such improvement being by Ramsey County and <br />the costs being borne jointly by Roseville as well as <br />other benefited municipalities1 and by tne construction of <br />storm water pumping station, force main and gravity stoxm <br />sewer to convey ponded storm water run off from the <br />existing stor.m water Lmpounding area located between Trunk <br />Hignway 36 and County Road B-2 and lying west of Fulham <br />Street, together with the grading and improvement of the <br />existing open ditch lying within the right of way of the <br />Minnesota Transfer Railway Company and extending from Jones <br />Lake in New Brighton and southerly to approximately 400 <br />feet north of County Road B-2 (Terminal Road) in Rosev111e <br />and certain gravity storm sewers located on Rose Place, <br />Eustis and County Road C..within the area described in <br />the notice of hearing, at a cost presently esttmated to be <br />approximately $559~400, and substanti.ally in accordance <br />with the preliminary engineer's report as to the feasibility <br />thereof which is now on file in the office of the Village <br />Clerk - Administrator, and having considered the views of <br />
