<br />NOTICE OF HEARING <br />ON STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT NO. 67-l0 <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the VillagE! of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, will meet at the Village Council Chan~ers, <br />2701 North Lexington Avenue, on the 24th day of April, 196i', at <br />7:30 o'clock p. m., to hold a public hearing pursuant to Mi.nnesota <br />Statu tes, Chapter 429, as amended, on proposed Storm DrainC!.ge <br />Improvement No. 67-10 consisting of the relocation and repair of a <br />major portion of Ramsey County Ditch 4 between its outlet i.nto <br />Lake Johanna and its upper end at County Road B. Of the t~~ and <br />three-quarter mile length of the existing ditch, approximat.ely one <br />and one-half miles are proposed to be improved, a 11 lying r:.orth of <br />Trunk Highway 36. The ditch will be reconstructed in its present <br />location for approximately 3,800 feet between County Road C <br />and the outlet, together with the installation of necessary <br />enlarged culverts at street and highway crossings. The balance <br />of the work between County Road C and Fairview Avenue, approximately <br />4,200 feet, consists of relocation and encasement of the ditch <br />within a large diameter underground storm sewer. Also a part of <br />the improvement would be the construction of approximately 3,100 <br />feet of lateral storm sewer proposed to be located on village <br />streets which would provide direct storm sewer service to the <br />streets and abutting private property, located in the westerly <br />portion of James Fourth Addition in Roseville. The area tributary <br />to the present ditch 4 system which was initiated in 1906, consists <br />of a large area within the central portion of Roseville bounded <br />generally on the west by Fairview Avenue and generally on the <br />east by Hamline Avenue, 'and extending from County Road D, the <br />north village limits, to Roselawn Avenue which is partially the <br />south village limits, as well as a small fringe area within the <br />Village of Falcon Heights. The foregoing is all substantially in <br />accordance with a preliminary engineering report which is now on <br />file and open to public inspection in the office of the Village <br />Manager. <br /> <br />The cost of the improvement is presently estimated at approxi- <br />mately $480,000. The area proposed to be assessed for the <br />improvement includes all parcels of property lying within the <br />following described boundary: <br />
