<br />part of the improvement would be the construction of approximately <br />3,lOO feet of lateral storm sewer proposed to be located on <br />village streets which would provide direct storm sewer service to <br />the streets and abutting private property, located in the westerly <br />portion of James Fourth Addition in Roseville. The area <br />tributary to the present ditch 4 system which was initiated in <br />1906, consists of a large area within the central portion of <br />Roseville bounded generally on the west by Fairview Avenue and <br />generally on the east by Hamline Avenue, and extending from <br />County Road D, the north village limits, to Roselawn Avenue which <br />is partially the south village limits, as well as a small fringe <br />area within the Village of Falcon Heights. <br /> <br />The Council also directed Banister Engineering Company to <br />determine the estimated cost of the improvement, and whether <br />such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with same other improvement. The preliminary report and cost <br />estimate have been submitted by the engineers and considered by <br />the Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on <br />file in the office of the village manager. The improvement <br />proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the report <br />is designated as -Storm Drainage Improvement No. 67-10. <br /> <br />2. The Council shall meet at the Village Council Chambers, <br />270l North Lexington Avenue, on April 24, 1967, at 7:30 o'clock p. m. <br />for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed <br />improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and the clerk is hereby author- <br />ized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose <br />of that meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, <br />Ramsey County Suburban Life, which publications shall be a week <br />apart, and the second publication shall be not less than three <br />days before the date of the hearing. Pursuant to M. S. 429.031, <br />Subdivision 1, notice shall also be mailed to the owner of each <br />parcel within the area proposed to be assessed not less than 10 <br />days prior to such hearing. <br /> <br />3.
