is proposed to discharge through an outlet sewer on Fernwood
Street northerly into Lake Josephine. The storm water collection
and conveyance system consists of approximately 13,000 feet of
pipe, 12" through 60" in size, together with necessary catch
basins, inlets and manholes. The foregoing system will collect
the surface drainage waters and runoff from the tributary area
and will convey the water in a generally easterly and northerly
direction for discharge into Lake Josephine. The cost of the
improvement is presently estimated at approximately $436,000.00.
The foregoing is all substantially in accordance with a
preliminary engineering report which is now on file in the office
of the Village Manager. Having considered the views of all
interested persons and being fully advised in the premises, the
Council does hereby determine and order that said improvement
shall be constructed and financed, and special assessments shall
be levied therefor, pursuant to said Minnesota Statutes, Chapter
429, as amended, and that the area proposed to be assessed for
said improvement will consist of the property as described in
the notice of hearing, or portion thereof; and that the consulting
village engineers are hereby directed to prepare and submit to
the Council final plans and specifications for the construction
of said improvement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was

duly seconded by

Member Curley

I and upon roll call vote

being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Hayor Cedarho1m, Trustees Curley, Grauel and Shields
and the following against: Trustee Goodrich

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
