<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 28, 1967 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on August <br />28, 1967, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: ~1ayor Cedarholm, Counci lmen <br />Curley, Goodrich, Grauel and Shields <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Goodrich <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1880 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPLYING TO AN APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE <br />TO SECTION 13.240 OF THE VILLAGE CODE SUBMITTED BY NORTHERN <br />STATES POWER COMPANY AND A SPECIAL USE PERMIT PURSUANT TO <br />SECTION 7.240 OF THE VILLAGE CODE ON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />SET FORTH BELOW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Northern States Power Company, hereinafter <br />referred to as "NSP", has filed an application for a Special Use Permit <br />pursuant to Section 7 . 2 40 of the Village Code of the Village of <br />Roseville and has filed an application for Variance to Section 13.240 <br />of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Village Council to <br />allow a double circuit 345 kv transmission line through the Village of <br />Roseville on single poles only where said transmission line goes <br />through re sidential areas of the Village, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the use of single poles at angles of the transmission <br />line has not as yet been sufficiently used in any area of the United States <br />
