Regular City Council Meeting
Monday, June 18, 2007
Page 2
2. Approve Agenda
Staff requested that Item 10.q entitled, "Variance Board Appointments -
Consider Appointments to the Variance Board;" be moved up on the agenda
to ensure it received action at tonight's meeting.
Councilmember Roe asked that land use cases, Items 10. h, i, and k be
moved up on the agenda with other land use issues if there were members of
the community in attendance. It was Council consensus that time and atten-
dees would be monitored during the evening to determine when to hear
those specific items.
Mayor Klausing expressed concern regarding the number of items on to-
night's agenda and projected time allotments.
Councilmember Roe requested removal of Consent Item 7.g entitled, "City
Council Meeting -Cancel the July 9, 2007 City Council Meeting," for dis-
cussion.
Councilmember Kough noted that he'd provided Community Development
Director John Stark with a memo on his comments regarding the single-
family residential lot split issue for staff review.
With no other modifications, by Council consensus, the agenda was ap-
proved as amended.
3. Public Comment
Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on
any non-agenda items. No one appeared to speak.
4. Communications, Reports and Announcements
a. Mayor Klausing made several announcements about the upcoming
Summer Concert Series at Central Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Sundays and the upcoming RoseFest activities and parade and en-
couraged residents to attend these events and be involved in the com-
munity; and referred to the City's website for additional information.
5.
