Mr. Jones suggested that, in light of the late hour, City Council ap- prove the CUP, excluding the boarding language and approving the rest of the language for a pet store; allowing him time to meet his timelines, and address the kennel issues in the future. Mr. Stark was receptive to the applicant's suggestion, and strongly re- commended such exclusionary approval. Roe moved, Pust seconded, adoption of Resolution No, 10517entitled, "A Resolution Approving a Conditional Use Permit in Accordance with Roseville City Code, Sections 1005.015 and 1013.01, for Rose- dale Commons LP and PetSmart, 2480 Fairview Avenue (PF07- 026);" as amended to exclude "[boarding, pet day care]," from Condi- tion number one of the resolution, page two. Conditional Use Permit -Consider an Interim Use Permit for Robert , 280 Minnesota Avenue (PF07-024) Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd briefly reviewed the request of Mr. DeLeo requesting an Interim Use Permit (IUP) to create temporary living quarters on the property until occupancy of a new home is per- mitted. Mr. Lloyd noted that Mr. DeLeo owned the property at 280 Minnesota Avenue, and had razed the former accessory structure and replaced it with a new detached garage, with plans to build a -new home in the same general location as the former residence. Staff noted previous approval for Mr. Alexander, 920 Parker Avenue, with staff reconsidering support of such temporary living quarters based on numerous considerations.
