Pust moved, Ihlan seconded, directing staff to develop a vulnerable area emergency response plan in order to issue a building permit at 1233 Larpenteur Avenue; further conditioned that the applicant com- plete and incorporate an indemnification agreement as part of the plan; and that this agreement be in place prior to issuance of any building permit by the City. Receive Final Report -Consider Formally Receiving the Single- Family Residential Lot Split Study Final Report Pust moved, Klausing seconded, receipt of the Single-Family Lot Split Advisory Group's May 14, 2007, Single-Family Residential Lot Split Study Final Report. Roll Call Ayes: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Roe and Klausing. Nays: None. q. Variance Board Appointments -Consider Appointments to the Variance Board Roe moved, Ihlan seconded, appointment of Planning commissioners Daniel Boerigter, Jim Doherty, Barb Martinson, and Thomas Gottfried, as the 2007/2008 Variance Board to serve in such capacity until May 7, 2008, with one to serve as an alternate to be determined by the Variance Board members. Roll Call Ayes: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Roe and Klausing. Nays: None. Councilmember Kough noted that he had provided Mr. Stark with a written memo tonight regarding lot splits requiring unanimous vote of the City Council; and fur- ther suggesting the City adopt an ordinance similar to that of the City of Minnea- polis regarding notification of adjoining property owners in lot split areas.
