ity C~ ncii Stu y essi~
~nday, July 16, 2007
Page 3
Mr. Neprash advised the City Council that he had comments to make
as a private citizen, not as a member of the City's Public Works,
Transportation and Environment Commission, on the Northwestern
College expansion and sought clarification as to when the City Coun-
cil would hear those comments.
Mayor Klausing noted that other than initial public comment on non-
agenda items, the City Council as a practice didn't hear public com-
ment on specific agenda items at Study Sessions in an effort to allow
the City Council adequate discussion time with staff. However,
Mayor Klausing noted that public comment would be heard at the up-
coming regular Council meeting where action would be taken on this
item. Mayor Klausing respectfully requested that Mr. Neprash pro-
vide his comments in writing by e-mail or letter to the City Council`s
attention, ~,vith a staff copy, to allow adequate research and response.
Mr. Neprash advised he would do so; and also noted that he would be
providing recommendations from the Public Works, Environment and
Transportation Commission to the City Council at the upcoming
meeting also.
4. Council Communications, Reports and Announcements
None.
5. Report Items
a.
