EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD SEPTEMBER 18, 1967. * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on September 18, 1967, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Hayor Cedarholm, Councilmen Shields, Curley and Grauel and the following members were absent: Counei lman Goodrich Member Grauel introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 1901 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT DOMAIN THE PERMANENT EASEMENT ACROSS AND UNDER CERTAIN LAND FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING AND OPERATING UNDERGROUND WATER MAINS, PIPES, AND APPURTENANCES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AND THAT THE NECESSARY PRO- CEEDINGS BE COMPLETED FOR SAID PURPOSE, AS A PART OF IMPROVE- MENT 66-26: WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Roseville has been advised by competent engineers that it is fea sible to construct underground water mains, pipes and appurtenances for the purpose of enlarging the Municipal water system within that portion of said Village as a part of improvement 66-26 for the Village of Roseville; and WHEREAS, The Village Council deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interest of the Village and its inhabitants that the Village acquire pennanent easement across and under certain land for the above purposes; and WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota state that the Village has the power and authority to take and acquire said property by condemnation under the power of eminent domain;
