City Council Study Session
1l~Ionday, August 20, 2007
Page 14
crement financing (TIF) funding under consideration. Mr. Tanning
further opined that the neighborhood should have lots of input into a
plan, even if it included some retail; and asked that the neighborhood
be provided with a walking trail, a nice family restaurant, and attrac-
tive, pedestrian and/or bike-friendly transportation options within the
development. Mr. Tanning further opined that the City of Roseville
had a history of "cramming too much stuff in a small area;" and noted
that many long-time businesses had already relocated, and the com-
munity and area was emerging as an inner tier suburb, and couldn't
remain the way it was previously.
