IZe~ular City C®uncil eetin~ <br />®nday, .Tuly 23, 2007 <br />Pale 16 <br />Mayor Klausing noted the advantage of items such as the last three <br />ordinance amendments coming before the City Council at their Study <br />Sessions for a first review. <br />Pust moved, Klausing seconded, approval to the proposed change to <br />Section 404.02, ®pen Burning Section of the Roseville City Code, al- <br />lowing Burn Permits to be issued by the Fire Marshal without the re- <br />quirement for City Council to direct the issuing of each permit. <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined her agreement with the intent of the re- <br />vision to City Code, Section 404.02; however advise that she couldn't <br />find ordinance specifics to burning in the staff request, and questioned <br />why burn permit revisions were only being sought as they related to <br />prairie grasses and/or vegetation burns. <br />Chief Gasaway clarified that those two (2) items were simply used as <br />examples, and that staff used State Statute provisions as cited. <br />C'®cil e~cea~ Ibla s®bt aditi®al if~~° ati® ®n we~°e ~°aa <br />~°ie pass u~ns~t, and specific c®de p~®visi®s. <br />Floe moved, Pust seconded, a friendly amendment to amend proposed <br />wording, page 1, Section B, to read as followse <br />"B.
