Regular City C®uncil eating <br />®nday, July 23, 2007 <br />Page 4~ <br />Councilmember Ihlan spoke against the motion, reiterating her ration- <br />ale from previous comments supporting the need for a positive decla- <br />ration for an EIS and their cumulative threshold affects and impacts <br />Councilmember Pust spoke in support of the motion; opining that her <br />concerns had been addressed and additional information provided as <br />she' d requested. Councilmember Pust further opined that there were a <br />multitude of conditions that should be placed on the PUD Agreement; <br />and expressed her intent to see that they were included in the next <br />phase of approval. Councilmember Pust opined that under statutory <br />criteria, significant impacts were identified, but their affects were sub- <br />j act to mitigation plans as set forth, and that it would be up to the <br />RGU to ensure that those mitigation plans were put in place in the <br />PLTI~, and that the College be held accountable to the mitigation meas- <br />ures they' d identified. <br />Councilmember Roe spoke in support of the motion; opining that he <br />felt sufficient and satisfactory information .had been provided by the <br />applicant in their responses to his questions and agency/public com- <br />ments. <br />®11 Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Days: Ihlan and Kough. <br />®tl®n carried® <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, suspending Council Rules to extend the meeting cur- <br />few to 11:3 0 p.m. to finish discussion on this item. <br />®11 Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Roe; Ihlan; Kough; and Klausing. <br />bays: None. <br />Ihlan moved, Kough seconded, to delay City Council consideration of <br />the Northwestern College PUD beyond the August 13, 2007 proposed <br />date; to allow time for additional- information to be brought forward <br />for incorporation in the PUD Agreement. <br />Mayor Klausing spoke against the motion. <br />
