Minutes of 8/27/07 <br />Regular City Council Meeting <br />Page 17 <br />City Attorney Anderson noted that the motion Councilmember Kough <br />was proposing would constitute an amendment to the City's zoning <br />ordinance, and zoning amendment procedures could not be heard to- <br />night without public notification. <br />Councilmember Kough requested that staff include this item on a fu- <br />ture agenda. <br />Councilmember Roe suggested that it be included on a Study Session <br />agenda to allow sufficient discussion. <br />Mayor Klausing concurred with Councilmember Roe's suggestion for <br />a Study Session agenda discussion; noting that it could be part of a <br />broader discussion on lot splits with previously-identified discussion <br />topics from the lot split study group recommendations. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: Ihlan; Kough. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilmember Ihlan observed members of the audience who may be waiting for <br />the Northwestern College discussion, who may have missed the announcement at <br />the beginning of the meeting. <br />Mayor Klausing thanked Councilmember Ihlan for alerting the City Council to this <br />situation; and re-announced that the applicant had removed this item from tonight's <br />agenda, and that it was tentatively rescheduled for the September 10, 2007 regular <br />City Council meeting. <br />Staff confirmed with the public and City Council that they were attempting to pro- <br />vide e-mail notification of this item to those requesting such notice via the City's <br />website. <br />9.
