Consider Items Removed from Consent <br />e. Contract -Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for <br />Safety Consultant Services with Integrated Loss Control <br />City Manager Malinen briefly reviewed the request for contracting <br />with a firm to provide services in safety and loss control for the City, <br />as recommended by the City's Safety Committee. <br />Discussion included the first-time experience basis of the City of <br />Roseville with this vendor, following references from other munici- <br />palities; specifics of this agreement versus current record keeping re- <br />quirements already in place for the City; and no current services pro- <br />vided by the City Attorney for preventive loss control efforts other <br />than general training. <br />
