<br /> <br />Planning Commission Board Meeting <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Draft Minutes - Wednesday, July 11, 2007 <br />1. Call to Order <br />Chair Bakeman called to order the Planning Commission meeting at 6:35 p.m. and reviewed <br />the role and purpose of the Planning Commission. <br />2. Roll Call & Introductions <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke called the Roll. <br />Members Present: Commissioners Joe Wozniak; Ildephonse Gasongo; Jim Doherty; Daniel <br />Boerigter; Barbara Martinson; and Chair Mary Bakeman. <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Thomas Gottfried. <br />Staff present: Community Development Director John Stark; City Planner Thomas Paschke; <br />Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd; City Engineer Debra Bloom; and Economic Development <br />Associate Jamie Radel. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />MOTION <br />Member Boerigter moved, seconded by Member Doherty, to approve meeting minutes <br />of June 6, 2007 as amended. <br /> Corrections: <br /> Page 4, Motion on Robert DeLeo Request for IUP, Planning File 07-024 (Wozniak) <br />Staff was requested to verify that all proposed conditions were included in the motion <br />(i.e., initial and ongoing inspections by staff of the RV and site related to water and <br />sanitary sewer connections and removal of the RV upon completion of construction). <br />Chair Bakeman provided staff with minor typographical corrections for the final copy. <br />Ayes: 6 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />4. Communications and Recognitions: <br />a. From the Public (Public Comment on items not on the agenda): <br />No one appeared to speak on any non-agenda items. <br />b. From the Staff or Commission: <br /> <br />None. <br />5. Public Hearings <br />a. PLANNING FILE 07-027 <br />Request by Bonten L.P. for FINAL PLAT and VACATION of CERTAIN <br />EASEMENTS at their corporate campus, 2335 W Highway 36. <br />Chair Bakeman opened the Public Hearing for Planning File 07-027. <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke reviewed the request of the applicant for VACATION of <br />certain PUBLIC EASEMENTS (seven storm water pond easements and one sanitary <br />sewer easement in their entirety and three partial easements) and replacing the <br />required utility and drainage easements (as noted on the final plat; in addition to <br />approval of the FINAL PLAT (combining eight existing parcels and/or lots into four <br />new lots). <br />Mr. Paschke advised that in January of 2006, Bonten sought and received approval <br />by the City Council of Roseville for multiple VARIANCES, VACATION of certain <br />PUBLIC EASEMENTS and FINAL PLAT.
