Planning Commission Meeting <br />Minutes – Wednesday, July 11, 2007 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />super majority commitment to the anticipated scope for the Comprehensive Plan <br />Update and budget; minimum requirements and additional options; and expectations <br />of and staff discussions internally with Metropolitan Council representatives and <br />negotiation of a possible extension of the deadline for submittal and review. <br />Staff was encouraged, by Planning Commissioner consensus, to present a conceptual <br />plan for the makeup of the selection committee to the City Council sooner rather than <br />later to include those staff and commission members outlined, in addition to members <br />at large, and potentially someone to represent the Imagine Roseville 2025 steering <br />committee. Commissioners expressed concern in a super majority support by the City <br />Council for the process through its entirety. <br />Chair Bakeman expressed the Commission’s enthusiasm to work on the project, while <br />recognizing the challenges before them; and thanked staff for their updated timeline. <br />Chair Bakeman closed the Public Hearing for Planning File 3692. <br />MOTION <br />Member Doherty moved, seconded by Member Bakeman to continue Planning <br />File 3692 of the Roseville Comprehensive Plan Update Process to the next <br />meeting. <br />Ayes: 6 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />6.
