<br /> <br />Special Planning Commission Board Meeting <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Minutes - Wednesday, August 15, 2007 <br /> <br />1. Call to Order <br />Chair Bakeman called to order the Planning Commission meeting at approximately 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The purpose of this Special Meeting was to review and provide individual and corporate <br />comment on the Imagine Roseville 2025 goals and strategies to the City Council; and for a <br />preliminary review and staff presentation of discussion materials related to the Comprehensive <br />Plan Amendment proposed for presentation at the August 20, 2007 joint meeting of the City <br />Council and Planning Commission. <br /> <br />2. Roll Call & Introductions <br />Members Present: Chair Mary Bakeman; Commissioners Ildephonse Gasongo; Thomas <br />Gottfried; Barbara Martinson; Jim Doherty; Daniel Boerigter; and Joe Wozniak. <br /> <br />Staff present: Economic Development Associate Jamie Radel and Mike Darrow, Short Elliott <br />Hendrickson, Inc. Brainstorming – What is missing? <br />Commissioner Wozniak opined that what struck him in reviewing the document was a <br />lack of focus on education, and maintaining existing transportation infrastructure (i.e., <br />roads and pathways). Mr. Wozniak noted the he had anticipated more statements <br />indicating that Roseville would ultimately serve as a transit center for the metropolitan <br /> <br />
