City of <br />jai <br />~~ Minnesota, USA <br />City Council Study Session <br />Minutes <br />City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Monday, September 17, 2007 <br />1. Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the Roseville City Council Study Session at <br />approximately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br />(Voting and Seating Order for September: Roe; Pust; Ihlan; Kough; and <br />Klausing.) <br />City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />Councilmember Kough asked for flexibility with the agenda if and when <br />speakers arrived for discussion of Item S.g entitled, "An Ordinance Regard- <br />ing Lifetime Pet Licenses. <br />Councilmember Ihlan questioned a status update on the Northwestern Col- <br />lege Amended PUD process; and a litigation update on the Northwestern <br />College environmental issue had not been included on tonight's agenda, and <br />asked that they be included for discussion. <br />The Agenda was approved as amended. <br />3. Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on <br />any non-agenda items. <br />a. Al Sands, 2612 Aldine <br />Mr. Sands thanked the City Council for adopting the Preliminary 2008 <br />Budget and Levy; specifically Councilmember Roe for his input and <br />leadership. Mr. Sands provided his perspective on the proposed levy <br />increase; and encouraged Councilmembers to continue their review <br />and fine-tuning of the budget; with special consideration for the budg- <br />
