Release Grant Earmarks -Approve Release of Mounds View <br />School District Site Brownfields Cleanup Grant Earmarks <br />Councilmember Ihlan requested that, in the future, staff provide the <br />City Council with an update from the Mounds View School District <br />on environmental contamination mitigation through natural attenua- <br />tion at the site, as approved by the Minnesota Pollution Control <br />Agency (MPCA). <br />Ihlan moved, Roe seconded, approval of the release of earmarks for <br />the $612,816 grant funds from the Department of Employment and <br />Economic Development (DEED) Contamination Cleanup and Investi- <br />gation Grant Program; and the $50,000 grant funds from the Ramsey <br />County Environmental Response Fund for environmental remediation <br />activities at the Mounds View School District Site. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Roe; Pust; Ihlan; Kough; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />8.
