<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE <br />COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA, HELD OCTOBER 9, 1967. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a <br />regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the <br />Village Hall in said Village on the 9th day of October, <br />at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were <br />present: <br /> <br />1967, <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Councilmen Curley, Grauel and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Councilman Goodrich <br /> <br />Member Grauel introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.~6 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR SUBMISSION TO THE <br />ELECTORS ON WHETHER ORDINANCE NO. 559 SHALL BECOME <br />EFFECTIVE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council on July 10, 1967, <br />adopted Resolution No. 1863, providing for submission <br />to the electors on whether the terms of office of the <br />Mayor and Councilmen shall be four (4) year terms, by <br />biennial elections in~en-numbered years, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has now adopted Ordinance <br />No. 559 providing for four (4) year terms for the <br />Mayor and Councilmen and providing that elections <br />for said offices shall be in odd-numbered years, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, said <br />Ordinance shall not become effective without the majority <br />of the electors voting in a General or Special Election, <br />
