Regular City Council Meeting
Monday, November 26, 2007
Page 23
Councilmembers sought additional clarification from Mr. Brokke in the future on
replacement of a roof unit; with Councilmember Roe suggesting that the replace-
ment was related to a warranty issue.
City Manager Malinen advised that he would schedule further discussion at an
upcoming meeting.
12. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings
a. Councilmember Ihlan referenced a recent a-mail from Roseville resident Dick
Houck regarding a report disclosing TIF District funds; anticipate funds; possible
expenditures; City Council proposals; and whether funds could be applied to re-
duce future tax increases. Councilmember Ihlan encouraged staff to provide a
public report, perhaps as part of the upcoming Truth in Taxation meeting; or in
connection with the upcoming Public Hearing on the extension of the Centre
Pointe TIF District. Councilmember Ihlan offered to provide a copy of Mr.
Houck's a-mail to City Finance Director Chris Miller, for his response and report.
b. Councihnember Roe opined that, as part of the report and discussion, the City's
TIF Policy should be discussed, and determined if reporting requirements were
addressed in that policy. Mr. Miller advised that he would research that issue.
13. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
C ig D. Klausing, May
ATTEST:
1 `
~,ti/
liam J.
