Approve a Lease Agreement with Midway Speedskating Club for a Locker Room at the Roseville Skating Center Mayor Klausing and Councilmember Ihlan suggested several revisions to lan- guage and provisions of the proposed lease agreement; and several punctuation errors were noted for consistency purposes. Roe moved, Pust seconded, approval of a Lease Agreement between the City of Roseville-Roseville Skating Center and the Midway Speedskating Club for their exclusive lease of OVAL locker room space for a period of three (3) years, at an annual lease rate of $10,000 per year for those three (3) years, based on recom- mendation of the Skating Center Task Force, and review of the City Attorney; au- thorizing the City Manager OR Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke to execute the agreement, following review by the City Attorney; and amended as follows: ^ Line 18 - 20 of the Lease Agreement, Midway Speedskating Club provi- sions: Insert language to read as follows: "Make a contribution (to the City of Roseville] of $10,000 annually for three (3) years, beginning November 1, 2007, and ending on October 31, 2010. The contribu- tion shall be presented each year on or before December 31St » ^ Line 31- 32 of the Lease Agreement, Termination provisions: Strike language to read as follows: "Either party may request a termination of the relationship prior to the end of the three (3) year agreement, with a sixty (60)-day written notice of intentions(.], laeweve~-bet# ,~ Roll Call Ayes: Roe: Pust; Kough; Ihlan; and Klausing. Approve an Extension to the Minnesota Wildlife Rehabilitation Center Ground Lease Roe moved, Pust seconded, approval of a Lease Extension Agreement between the City of Roseville-Parks and Recreation Department and the Minnesota Wild- life Rehabilitation Center, extending Section 3 of the Ground Lease, Redevelop- ment and Use Agreement addendum from December 31, 2007 to March 31, 2009; authorizing the City Manager OR Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke to execute the agreement, following review by the City Attorney.
