EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* * * * * * * * * * * <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of October, 2007 at <br />6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Roe, Kough, Pust and Klausing <br />and the following were absent: None <br />Member Ihlan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10564 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE <br />EXTENTION OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT #1 (Centre Pointe) FOR <br />AN ADDITIONAL 2 YEARS <br />WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District #1, located within the City of Roseville is <br />scheduled to expire on December 31, 2007; and, <br />WHEREAS, MN State Statutes allow for the extension of TIF District #1 for an additional 2 <br />years; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that monies derived from the extension of TIF District <br />#1, could be used to serve a public purpose consistent with the goals and priorities of the City; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that additional monies must be spent to prepare the <br />necessary legal filings and financial analysis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br />1) A public hearing to consider the extension of TIF District #1 will be held at: <br />City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December <br />17, 2007, to consider the extension of Tax Increment Financing District #1 <br />2) The City Manager is hereby directed to cause the notice of the public hearing to be <br />published in the official newspaper of the City and in a newspaper of general circulation <br />at least 10 days, but not more than 30 days before the date of the public hearing. <br />1 <br />
