The Chair ruled the motion failed for lack of a second. Roe moved, Pust seconded, reappointment of the following Commissioners to their respective Commissions, with terms starting April 1, 2008 and ending March 31, 2011: Commissioner Commission Melissa Weldon Ethics Commission Marie Oftelie Human Ri hts Commission Robert Venters Human Ri hts Commission James Stark Parks & Recreation Commission Robert Willmus Parks & Recreation Commission Thomas Gottfried Plannin Commission James DeBenedet Public Works, Environment & Transporta- tion Commission Jan Vanderwall Public Works, Environment & Transporta- tion Commission Roll Call Ayes: Pust; Roe; Ihlan; and Klausing. Roe moved, Pust seconded, authorizing staff to advertise for a vacancy on the Ethics Commission; a vacancy on the Planning Commission; and a vacancy on the Police Civil Service Commission; with a 4:30 p.m. February 29, 2008 dead- line for applications; with interviews of candidates prior to the March 17, 2008 City Council meeting. Mayor Klausing inserted a City Council communication note at this point, reminding the public of the upcoming Home and Garden Fair scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Fair- view Community Center, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with free admission.
