Public Hearing regarding the Expenditure of Funds by the Snelling (Coven- <br />try) Apartments <br />Finance Director Clrris Miller briefly reviewed this request, noting that the City of <br />Falcon Heights is proceeding with the issuance oftax-exempt bonds for the bene- <br />fit of Snelling apartments Limited Partnership located at 2820 Snelling Avenue in <br />Roseville. Mr. Miller noted that the Partnership had previously approached the <br />City of Roseville to be the issuer; however, given established Council meeting <br />dates, the City had been unable to accommodate their original schedule. Mr. <br />Miller noted that the only action required of the Counci] is to hold the Public <br />Hearing to allow for public comment on the proceeds to be expended; and then <br />adoption of a resolution and Joint Powers Agreement to acknowledge the expen- <br />diture of tax exempt funds by the Partnership. <br />Mayor Klausing opened and closed the Public Hearing at 7:42 p.m., with no one <br />appearing for or against. <br />Roe moved, Klausing seconded, adoption of Resolution No.10600 entitled, <br />"Resolution Giving Host Approval to the Issuance of a Revenue Note and Author- <br />izing Execution of a Joint Powers Agreement (Coventry Apartments Project)." <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />b. Public Hearing regarding the On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating Liquor Li- <br />censes for The Flame Cooking with Fire <br />Finance Director Chris Miller briefly reviewed the request for On-Sale and Sun- <br />day Intoxicating Liquor Licenses at Flame Cooking With Fire, noting that satis- <br />factory completion of all background investigations. Staff recommended ap- <br />proval. <br />Mayor Klausing opened and closed the Public Hearing at 7:43 p.m., with no one <br />appearing for or against. <br />Ihlan moved, Pust seconded, approval of the On-Sale and Sunday Intoxicating <br />Liquor Licenses, for HRP Roseville, LLC, d/b/a Flame Cooking With Fire, lo- <br />cated at 10 Rosedale Center, Space #1025," for the period expiring 12/31/08, <br />pending final review by the City Attorney. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />12.
