Call Roll Mayor Klausing called to order the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approxi- mately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. (Voting and Seating Order for February: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing) City Attorney Terry Foy was also present. 2. Approve Agenda Councilmember Ihlan requested removal of Consent Item 7.i entitled, "Set a Public Hear- ing to Issue Tax-Exempt Revenue Bonds on Behalf of Concordia Academy," for discus- sion purposes. The agenda was approved by consensus, as amended. 3. Public Comment Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- agenda items. No one appeared to speak. 4. Council Communications, Reports and Announcements Mayor Klausing announced a public "welcome home" ceremony for the Minnesota Na- tional Guard 147th Personnel Services Battalion at the armory on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at approximately 1:45 p.m., to welcome home the 26 members of the Guard from their recent Afghanistan deployment. Mayor Klausing announced that a Special City Council meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers for the purpose of a discussion by the City Council on strategic planning and setting long-term goals as the City moved into the 2009 budget process. Mayor Klausing announced the upcoming Roseville Home & Garden Fair, scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Fairview Community Center, open to the public with no admission, and featuring over fifty (50) vendors; various demonstrations, green semi- nars, and activities for the entire family with refreshments. Mayor Klausing announced that at 5:30 p.m., immediately prior to the regular February 25, 2008 regular meeting at 6:00 p.m., he would make a short "State of the City" presen- tation, and invited the public to attend or view the rebroadcast address on Cable Channel 16.
