City of <br />6;~ <br />J Minnesota, USA <br />Regular City Council Meeting <br />Minutes <br />City Hall Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Monday, February 11, 2008 <br />1. Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called to order the Roseville City Council regular meeting at approxi- <br />mately 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. <br />(Voting and Seating Order for February: Kough; Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing) <br />City Attorney Terry Foy was also present. <br />2. Approve Agenda <br />Councilmember Ihlan requested removal of Consent Item 7.i entitled, "Set a Public Hear- <br />ing to Issue Tax-Exempt Revenue Bonds on Behalf of Concordia Academy," for discus- <br />sion purposes. <br />The agenda was approved by consensus, as amended. <br />3. Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the audience on any non- <br />agenda items. No one appeared to speak. <br />4. Council Communications, Reports and Announcements <br />Mayor Klausing announced a public "welcome home" ceremony for the Minnesota Na- <br />tional Guard 147th Personnel Services Battalion at the armory on Wednesday, February <br />13, 2008 at approximately 1:45 p.m., to welcome home the 26 members of the Guard <br />from their recent Afghanistan deployment. <br />Mayor Klausing announced that a Special City Council meeting was scheduled for <br />Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers for the <br />purpose of a discussion by the City Council on strategic planning and setting long-term <br />goals as the City moved into the 2009 budget process. <br />Mayor Klausing announced the upcoming Roseville Home & Garden Fair, scheduled for <br />Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Fairview Community Center, open to the public with <br />no admission, and featuring over fifty (50) vendors; various demonstrations, green semi- <br />nars, and activities for the entire family with refreshments. <br />Mayor Klausing announced that at 5:30 p.m., immediately prior to the regular February <br />25, 2008 regular meeting at 6:00 p.m., he would make a short "State of the City" presen- <br />tation, and invited the public to attend or view the rebroadcast address on Cable Channel <br />16. <br />
