Other Business Items (Action Items) <br />a. Pre-Audit Meeting with the City Auditor <br />City Finance Director Chris Miller introduced Mr. Jim Eichten, from the firm of <br />Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, and Radosevich and Company, PA, who pre- <br />sented anoverview of their audit process and provided the City Council with an <br />opportunity to ask any questions on the upcoming audit. Mr. Eichten provided a <br />bench handout entitled, "City of Roseville Audit Entrance Conference, February <br />11, 2008." <br />Mr. Eichten apologized for the bench handout, but noted that the audit strategy <br />was very fluid and still being developed, in accordance with new SAS Suite audit- <br />ing standards. <br />Mr. Eichten reviewed various procedures of the audit; City internal controls for <br />financial activities and management oversight; comparisons to city standards for <br />Minnesota cities; required communications; sampling approach; timeline for audit <br />and intended presentation to the City Council on May 12, 2008; and prior year <br />findings and resolution of those issues. Mr. Eichten encouraged individual Coun- <br />cilmembers to contact him at their discretion. <br />b. Twin Lakes Presentation and Project Overview <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon provided an overview of <br />those items included in the staff report for tonight's meeting, and introduced pre- <br />senters of the various components of the Twin Lakes project.
