Mr. Stark remarked on the issues from the Lot Split Study as they relate to the RHRA: mainly, <br />housing affordability and lot size. Member Kelsey remarked on the complexity of this issue in <br />terms of designing and evaluating a consistent lot split standard. Member Kelsey commended <br />Community Development Department staff for guiding the Lot Split Citizen’s Advisory Group <br />(CAG) through the process. Member Pust reminded the audience of the three remaining <br />opportunities for public comment on this issue: Lot Split CAG meetings on April 19 and April 26 <br />and the May 2 Planning Commission meeting. Member Kelsey urged the audience to attend <br />these meetings to speak in support of alternatives. <br />Member Maschka made note of innovative green building technology and opined that the RHRA <br />should encourage more of these types of initiatives on a local level. Member Kelsey agreed and <br />related how green principles have been discussed during the Lot Split Study process. <br />Chair Majerus introduced the idea of holding a study session for the RHRA which would take <br />place in the coming months. <br />Chair Majerus read a proclamation in recognition of Ms. Bennett’s distinguished work with the <br />Roseville Housing and Redevelopment Authority since its creation in 2002. <br />10.Adjournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:28 p.m. <br />6 <br /> <br />
