City of Roseville - HRA Minutes for March 21, 2006Page 5 of 5 <br />Member Millasovich wondered how the County and St. Paul are dealing with this issue and that <br />should be explored. <br />Discussion of 2006 Housing Tour (HF0037) <br />c. <br />Executive Director requested HRA comment regarding a Housing Tour to be held in the spring. <br />Member Kelsey noted that the last tour was very helpful as a new HRA member to know and <br />understand the community. <br />Member Bean noted that this was beneficial and suggested having Planning Commission members <br />on the tour as well. <br />It was agreed that a May date around 5:00 p.m would be planned. <br />Board and Staff Reports <br />d. <br />Member Bean brought forward a suggestion that the communication with renters and landlords <br />regarding the City code should be implemented soon. She noted a particular situation in her <br />neighborhood. The HRA needs to be more proactive in this effort. <br />Member Kelsey that this is a good idea and very valuable and that not only getting information out <br />through new resident water bills but also through a landlord group and realtors. <br />Member Maschka suggested development of a CD that could be mailed to new residents, landlords <br />and also run on the public access channel. <br />Chair Majerus also suggested working with the Human Rights Commission on this effort. <br />Chair Majerus noted that the Roseville School Board will be having a joint meeting with the City <br />Council in April. <br />10.Adjournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM <br />Return to Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br />http://archive.ci.roseville.mn.us/council/hra/minutes/2006/hram060321.htm3/10/2008 <br />
