<br />City of Roseville - Housing & Redevelopment Authority Meeting Minutes for April 19, 2005Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />  <br />CC <br />ITYOUNCIL <br /> <br />City of Roseville <br />Housing & Redevelopment Authority Meeting Minutes <br />Tuesday, April 19, 2005, immediately following the neighborhood meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />Call to Order <br />1. <br />Chair Majerus called the regular meeting for April 19, 2005 of the Housing & Redevelopment Authority in and for <br />the City of Roseville to order at 8:37 p.m. at the City of Roseville, Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive. <br />  <br />Roll Call & Introductions <br />2. <br />Present: <br /> Marks, Majerus, Kelsey, Hermes <br />Absent <br />: Bean, Millasovich, Scheunemann <br />Staff Present: <br />  Dennis Welsch. <br />Council Present: <br />None <br />Others Present: <br /> Mike Hermes, Mary & Greg Kroening, John Kysylyczyn <br />  <br />Approval of Minutes <br />3. <br />Motion: Member Kelsey moved, seconded by Member Marks to approve the minutes of March 15, 2005 <br />regular meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried <br />  <br />Announcements/Agenda Adjustments, Correspondence, and Comments: <br />4. <br /> <br />a) Proclamation Declaring April 2005 as “Fair Housing Month” in Roseville <br /> <br /> <br />Motion: Member Hermes moved, seconded by Member Marks, to proclaim April 2005 as Fair Housing <br />Month in the City of Roseville. <br /> <br /> <br />                                            Roseville Proclamation <br /> <br /> <br />                                                Fair Housing Month <br />                                                        April 2005 <br /> <br />Whereas: <br />The month of April marks the 37th anniversary of the passage of the Federal Fair Housing Law, <br />declaring discrimination in the sale, rental or financing of housing based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, <br />familial status or national origin as unlawful; and <br /> <br />Whereas: <br /> Fair Housing Month is a time to remind all Americans that we not only have the right to own and rent <br />property, but it is an individual responsibility to guard this right from any infringement; and <br /> <br />Whereas: <br /> Roseville is a community where people of different races, religions, ages, lifestyles and occupations <br />can live side by side, enjoying each other and learning from each other; and <br /> <br />Whereas: <br /> The Roseville Human Rights Commission invites all residents to renew their commitment to making <br />Roseville a community that welcomes diversity and fosters a sense of security for all residents regardless of <br />race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin; and <br /> <br />http://archive.ci.roseville.mn.us/council/hra/minutes/2005/hram050419.htm3/12/2008 <br /> <br />
