EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the lOth day of January, 2000 at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. xxxx <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRIORITIES FOR ROSEVILLE AND RAMSEY COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS (CDBG) AND HOME INVESTMENT <br />PARTNERSHIP (HOME) FUNDS <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Comprehensive Plan adopted by the City Council provides <br />specific goals to provide a variety of housing types, improve the quality of below average <br />housing unites, fill the gaps to enable all stages of life cycle housing for entry level to senior <br />citizens, assist entry level family housing and retain and expand the business community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has, since 1985, continued to be an active participant <br />in the Ramsey County CDBG and HOME Programs; and <br />WHEREAS, annually the City Council establishes goals for housing and economic <br />development and recommends priorities for the Ramsey County CDBG and HOME project <br />funding. <br />NOW TI�REFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />hereby establishes the following five City of Roseville and County CDBG/HO ME housing and <br />economic development funding priorities (1 is highest rating, 5 is lowest rating): <br />1. Rehabilitation of owner-occupied single family properiy <br />2. Homeownership for first time buyers who are low to moderate income <br />3. New affordable housing construction - senior/special needs <br />4. Rehabilitation of rental properties <br />S. Job creation (funding of County wide demographic study demonstrating need for <br />housing and job creation) <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />
