Consider Request by Michael Schueller, in conjunction with property owners <br />Catherine and Riaz Hussain, for approval of an interim User Permit to allow <br />a deli and catering facility at 1901 Lexington Avenue (PF08-008) <br />Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd provided a brief summary of the request, as de- <br />tailed in the project report dated March 24, 2008, providing a history of the pro- <br />ject through the Planning Commission and City Council review process, public <br />comment, and subsequent City Attorney recommendations. <br />Discussion included whether the proposed actions should be separate or combined <br />in one action, based on transparency of those actions. <br />Mr. Lloyd noted that, discussions on a staff level, indicated that removing pazking <br />shouldn't be a requirement only for this use, bnt any future use would be compli- <br />cated by the parking remaining.. <br />Michael Schueller, Applicant <br />Mr. Schueller assured Councilmembers that parking would be removed. <br />Mayor Klausing noted, for the record, receipt of written comment from FAST - <br />Foes of Autumn Street Traffic, dated March 5, 2008, from Patrick Schmidt, 1140 <br />Autumn Street, provided as a bench handout. <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, ordering compliance with. Resolution 9414, requiring <br />the removal of the existing parking areas adjacent to Autumn Street, prior to any <br />reuse or redevelopment of the property, based on the determination of the Public <br />Works Director that the use of these parking areas would adversely affect the flow <br />of traffic in the area, amended to emphasize that the parking area creates a traffic <br />hazard and interferes with the flow of traffic and must be removed.. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Ihlan; Roe; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10610 entitled, "A Reso- <br />lution Approving an Interim Use Permit in Accordance with Roseville City Code, <br />
