Regular City Council Meeting
Monday, Apri121, 2008
Page 22
Roll Call
Ayes: Ihlan; Roe; Pust; and Klausing.
Nays: None.
14. City Manager Future Agenda Review
Finance Director Chris Miller advised that the next Council agenda looked quite lean,
with the only major discussion being the pawn shop use; however, noted that the May
12th agenda was extremely full with various land use calendar issues, and interviews
scheduled for both the HRA and City Council vacancy, along with other general business
items unless, in the interim, staff could shuffle some of those less time-sensitive items.
Council consensus was that interviewing of City Council candidates was of the highest
priority, and suggested that staff postpone interviews for the HRA vacancy (with the ap-
plication period closing on May 1St), unless there was a need to accommodate a specific
candidate's schedule.
Staff was requested to discuss, at a staff level, a delay in interviewing for the HRA va-
cancy, and any ramifications.
Councilmember Pust restated that the City Council application deadline was May 7th and
encouraged candidates to apply.
15. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings
16. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 9:13 p.m.
