<br />WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Minnesota <br />state that the Village has the power and authority to <br />take and acquire said property by condemnation under <br />the power of eminent domain; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Village Council hereby deems it necessary and <br />expedient that the Village acquire permanent easements <br />across the property described as follows: <br /> <br />TRACT NO. 1 (Easement No. 6720-1) <br /> <br />The West 10 feet of the East 90 feet <br />of the South one-half of the South- <br />west 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the <br />Northeast 1/4, Section 16, Township <br />29, Range 23. <br /> <br />TRACT NO. 2 <br /> <br />(Easement No. 6720-2) <br /> <br />The East 10 feet of Lot 2, Block I, <br />Mertes Home View, according to the <br />plat thereof on file and of record <br />in the office of the Register of <br />Deeds in and for said Ramsey Count~ <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />That permanent easements be acquired for the purposes <br />of constructing, maintaining and operating underground <br />storm sewer lines, pipes and appurtenances for the Village <br />of Roseville, Minnesota, together with ingress and egress. <br /> <br />That the Village Attorney be and he hereby is <br />instructed to complete the necessary proceedings in <br />condemnation under the power of eminent domain in the <br />name and in behalf of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />to acquire the property set forth above under the statutes <br />of the State of Minnesota, and that said attorney is <br />further instructed and directed to take such steps as <br />may be necessary to carry said proceedings to a conclusion. <br />
