Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, May 12, 2008 <br />Page 3 <br />Mayor Klausing read a proclamation calling upon all citizens, during National Po- <br />lice Week May 11 - 17, 2008, to join in commemorating law enforcement offi- <br />cers, past and present for their faithful and loyal devotion to their responsibilities <br />and communities; and in honor of May 15, 2008 as Peace Officers' Memorial Day <br />in honor of law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to <br />their community. <br />Roe moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of a proclamation of National Police Week <br />May 11 - 17, 2008, and in honor of May 15, 2008 as Peace Officers' Memorial <br />Day. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Roe; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />b. Proclamation of National Public Works Week <br />Mayor Klausing read a proclamation recognizing May 18 - 24, 2008 as National <br />Public Works Week in the City of Roseville. <br />Klausing moved, Ihlan seconded, a proclamation recognizing May 18 - 24, 2008 <br />as National Public Works Week in the City of Roseville. <br />Mayor Klausing noted that these were often the "unseen heroes" serving faith- <br />fully, but seldom recognized, and expressed his personal appreciation to them for <br />their work. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Roe; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />6. Approve Minutes <br />a. Approve Minutes of April 28, 2008 Regular Meeting <br />Roe moved, Pust seconded, approval of the minutes of the Apri128, 2008 Regular <br />Meeting as amended. <br />Corrections: <br />Page 21, 7th paragraph, Item 13.c "discussion on Council Liaisons" (Roe) <br />• Correct identification of "Ramsey County League of Local Government's" <br />adoption of a guiding document, rather than the Roseville School Board. <br />• Page 22, Remove headings for Items 8, 9, 10, 11 (Roe) <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Roe; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />
