<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLEz MINNESOTAz HELD FEBRUARY 26, 1968. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a ,1'.egular meeting <br />of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called <br />and held at the Village Hall in said Village on 11ondny, February 26, <br />1968, The following members were present: <br /> <br />Ilayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel and Linebarger <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: Councilman Shields <br /> <br />Member Curley <br />Resolution and moved its adoption:. <br /> <br />introduced the following <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2028 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY EMINENT <br />DOMAIN FEE SIMPLE TITLE TO CERTAIN LAND FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF MAINTAINING AND ESTABLISHING PUBLIC PARKS AND ESTABLISH- <br />ING LAND FOR FLOODING PURPOSES IN CONJUNCTION WITH VILLAGE <br />STORM SEWERS" FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AND <br />THAT THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE COMPLETED FOR SAID PUR- <br />POSE, AS A PART OF IMPROVEMENT 67 -10: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council deems it necessary and <br />expedient and in the best intere st of the Village and its inhabitants <br />that the Village acquire fee simple title to certain land for the purpose <br />of maintaining and establishing public parks and establishing land <br />for flooding purposes in conjunction with Village storm sewers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village has been unable to negotiate for the <br />purpose of purchasing said land; and <br />
