Environment and Transportation Commission <br />Klausing moved, Ihlan seconded, appointment of Joan Felice to the one vacancy <br />for a term that expires March 31, 2009. <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Pust; and Klausing. <br />Nays: Roe and Willmus. <br />Roll Call <br />Motion carried. <br />Mayor Klausing noted the number of strong candidates making application and <br />thanked them for their interest. <br />b. Consider Request to Perform a City Abatement for Unresolved Violations of <br />City Code at 2828 Griggs Street <br />City of Roseville Building Inspector Rick Talbot reviewed the request for City <br />abatement of current and remaining violations from those detailed on the report <br />dated August 11, 2008. <br />Mr. Talbot anticipated that abatement would be completed within the next thirty <br />(30) days; and advised that it was typical of this particular homeowner to repeat- <br />edly make an extremely last ditch effort to achieve compliance. Mr. Talbot re- <br />quested the City Council's permission to take action if the property owner did not <br />bring the property into compliance accordingly. <br />Mr. Talbot thanked Councilmembers for their assistance with their April of 2008 <br />action related to Code Enforcement and Abatements; and opined that it had al- <br />
